Audit Assessment
We go through various steps to complete an audit on the IT infrastructure of your business:
Step 1
Install a Firewall Server between the Internet and your Internal Network. This will allow you to track all incoming and outgoing traffic. The Firewall will also enable you to plan the capacity usage (E-mail and Internet) as this will be logged.
Omniholdings monitors all critical aspects of the Firewall server remotely and we are able to rectify serious problems from our offices. A history of browsing patterns, Internet and email usage and network traffic is also built up.
Whenever a business network is connected to the Internet, a firewall solution must be implemented to protect against threats and malicious code. The Firewall should use industry standards such as IPTables.
Step 2
Run a security scan on the PC’s on the Internal Network. We will be able to identify PC’s with security holes, pirated software, unpatched and vulnerable applications and make recommendations of fixes to implement.
Step 3
Audit all software used at your company and verify licensing.
Step 4
Look for Network access vulnerabilities such as unsecure WIFI points, vulnerable network connections and illegal network access points.
Step 5
Make recommendations on fixes
